Still playing around with the whole formatting & layout of the whole thing, i guess. I've also made the descision to start blogging in english, since i actually know a few people who cannot speak that old kitchen language, afrikaans. (except for of course all the curse words - good job, guys) Maybe i'll just alternate. Or maybe I'll just do this one in english and continue in afrikaans, now that i think about it, my english speaking friends probably won't check my blog anyway! Just a few words on what i've done for my holidays - i decided that i had to visit the old homestead over december, as i'm not sure that i'll ever go back there again, or at least not for a very long while. it was pretty cool to see all the nephews & nieces and assorted family, and to hang out around my gran's coffee table. unfortunately i couldn't find enough time to see my old schoolfriends, which i regret. At least they can come visit me once we've got ourselves sorted out in nz. New holiday destination, everyone! i really enjoyed hearing all the little pieces of family gossip! It seems like every time i go home, i get a new perspective on how everybody fits together. All in all, it seems like perfect way to start getting ready to leave SA, to re-establish where i come from, and to take part in all the little family traditions that was part of life when i was younger.

Hierdie is nou die eerste pos op die blog, net om te kyk of dit werk. moenie te excited raak dit nie, ek is famous vir goeters begin en halfpad laat staan.

Die doel van die hele thing is om almal updated te hou met wat aangaan in my lewe, natuurlik is die new zealand planne die heel grootste issue op die oomblik.

As NZ nie uitwerk nie gaan hierdie blog vinnig donkerder raak.
